InstaDict (闪词典) is an offline dictionary for Apple Watch and iPhone, distributed by Shanghai Candy Rectangle Technology Co., Ltd (上海市糖方科技有限公司).
Data collection
InstaDict does not collect personal data, track your activity, or upload the words you look up. No account is required. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
On-device storage
Dictionary searches run on your device. Downloaded dictionaries and app preferences are stored locally. If you choose to send a dictionary from iPhone to Apple Watch, the dictionary and its installation status are exchanged between your devices using Apple's connectivity services.
Downloads and system services
Downloading dictionaries and checking for dictionary updates require an internet connection. Download servers receive standard connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver these files. These requests do not include the words you look up.
If you use Apple's dictation or other system input features, Apple handles any related data according to your device settings and its privacy policy.
